What Do You Know About Individual Tax Brackets?
It doesn’t matter how much money we have, most of us could always do with more. While that may be true in many cases, you can't forget about taxes. The fact of the matter is, the more you make, the more taxes you owe.

Self-employed workers

If you have not reached a tax bracket where you owe taxes based on your income and yearly deductions, then consider yourself lucky. However, in the case of business owners and self-employed people, you pay tax directly no matter what income and tax brackets you fall into.

I am self-employed, so I pay my taxes monthly. There are many ways you can set it up, paying in advance quarterly, bi-annually or annually. Or, you can set up an installment agreement for your taxes and pay them after. That is when you make a monthly payment.

I pay monthly because it makes it easy, convenient and affordable. Then, when the next tax year rolls around, I set up another installment agreement for the new year. So I pay taxes instead of getting a refund, no matter my deductions or individual tax bracket because they are not taken out of my paycheck so to speak, nor am I paying them in advance. If I were to pay too much in advance, then I would get a refund, which is why others get a refund based on their own income tax bracket.
